INFORMATION:

The exchange of one logo, race number, and rider’s name is free of additional charges; this service is included in the price of every graphics kit. We dispatch within 24 hours after payment/design approval. A custom design will be created according to the customer’s requirements and sent to their email for approval before printing.

ORDER PROCESS:

Upon receiving the order and approving the design, the decals will be produced and delivered with the highest priority. The shipment is usually dispatched within 24 hours after payment/approval and should be delivered by courier the next business day.

QUALITY:

We use only the highest quality materials available on the market with FLO technology (bubble-free application of decals). All our graphic designs are printed with high DPI quality and laminated with the most durable materials available. There are classic and full chrome materials to choose from (surface finish options include glossy, matte, frozen, or gold/silver glitter).

NOTE:

This product is not an original branded motorcycle product (the manufacturer is Motard Design). The final design colors may not match exactly with the product image.

INSTALLATION:

Before starting, ensure that your graphics kit is suitable for your motorcycle. If any issues arise, contact us via email before applying. Send us precise information to info@motard-design.com with all details of your order.

1. Remove the old graphics or decals using technical gasoline. This breaks down the adhesives’ chemicals and evaporates after a few minutes (it is important to remove all old adhesive). Finally, clean all oily surfaces. Do NOT USE WATER on the adhesive side of the decals; the decals are applied dry. I recommend starting the installation on a small part of the motorcycle, like the swingarm or fenders, to get a skill on how to do it correctly.

2. First, peel back a piece of the backing paper, about 10 cm, fold it back, and cut the paper. Then place the decal on the appropriate part of the motorcycle and gently press it into place. After that, check the decal’s placement to ensure it fits well on all sides (check the screw holes and ventilation openings). Decals are somewhat moldable; if it deviates slightly, you can pull the decal back into alignment or even use heat from a heat gun to soften it for gentle reshaping.

3. Pay special attention to the edges. These are the main areas that need to be heated just before application; otherwise, the decal will be stiff and won’t bend well over the edge. Be careful to touch the adhesive side of the graphics as little as possible. Once the graphics are completely adhered, press everything firmly.

4. When everything is finished, park the motorcycle; a minimum of 48 hours is required for the adhesive to cure. Try to maintain the motorcycle within a stable temperature range – the recommended temperature is +20 °C. In case of a peeling edge, use a heat gun to warm the decal and press it again.
