QUALITY:

All graphic designs are printed in high DPI quality and laminated with the most durable materials available. Choices include classic or full-chrome materials in glossy, matte, frosted, or gold/silver glitter finishes.

INSTALLATION:

Before commencing, ensure the graphics kit is compatible with your motorcycle. If you encounter any issues, contact us via email prior to applying the decals. Provide us with complete details at info@motard-design.com, including all order information.

1. Remove the old graphics or decals using technical gasoline. This solvent breaks down the chemicals in adhesives and evaporates within minutes. It is crucial to eliminate all remnants of old adhesive. Finally, clean all greasy surfaces. DO NOT USE WATER on the adhesive side of the decals; they must be applied dry. We recommend starting the installation on a small area of the motorcycle, such as the swingarm or fenders, to hone your skill for proper application.

2. Begin by peeling back approximately 10 cm of the backing paper, folding it behind the decal, and cutting off the removed section. Position the decal on the relevant part of the motorcycle and gently press it into place. Verify the decal’s alignment to ensure it fits correctly on all sides, including bolt holes and ventilation openings. The decals possess a degree of flexibility; if slightly misaligned, you can stretch the decal back into place or apply gentle heat using a hair dryer to facilitate re-positioning.

3. Focus particularly on the edges. These areas must be heated promptly before application; otherwise, the decal will remain rigid and cannot bend properly around curves. Minimize contact with the adhesive side of the graphics. Once fully applied, press down firmly on all areas.

4. After installation, park the motorcycle and allow a minimum of 48 hours for the adhesive to cure. Maintain the motorcycle within a stable temperature range, ideally around +20 °C. If any edge begins to lift, use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the decal and press it down again.
