INFORMATION:

Replacing one logo, the starting number, and rider name is complimentary and included in the price of each decal. We ship within 24 hours after payment and design approval. The custom design will be created per the customer’s specifications and sent to their email for approval prior to printing.

Upon receipt of your order and design approval, your decals will be manufactured and shipped with utmost priority. Your order will typically ship within 24 hours of payment/approval and should arrive by courier the next business day.

QUALITY:

We utilize only the highest quality materials available on the market with FLO technology for bubble-free application. All our graphics are printed using high DPI and laminated with the most durable materials on the market. You can select from classic or full chrome materials, with surface finishes available in glossy, matte, frozen, or gold/silver glitter.

INSTALLATION:

Before starting, ensure your graphics are suitable for your motorcycle. If any issues arise, please contact us via email before application. Send detailed information to info@motard-design.com along with your order specifics.

1. Remove old graphics or decals using white spirit. This breaks down the adhesive chemicals and evaporates after a few minutes; it’s important to eliminate all old adhesive. Finally, clean all oily surfaces. DO NOT USE WATER on the adhesive side of the decals; they adhere best when dry. It is recommended to begin by installing the decals on a smaller section of the bike, such as the swingarm or fenders, to hone your application skills.

2. First, peel off a section of backing paper, approximately 10 cm, fold it back, and cut the paper. Next, position the decal on the appropriate part of the motorcycle and gently press it into place. Verify the decal’s layout to ensure it fits well around all edges (checking screw holes and ventilation openings). The decals are somewhat malleable; if you “bend” them slightly, you can stretch them back to flat or use heat from a heat gun to soften and gently shape the decal.

3. Pay particular attention to the edges, as these areas require heating just prior to application; otherwise, the decal will remain “stiff” and won’t bend around the edge properly. Minimize direct contact with the adhesive side of the decal. Once fully applied, press everything down firmly.

4. Once installation is complete, park the bike. Allow a minimum of 48 hours for the adhesive to cure. Keep the bike within a stable temperature range, ideally around 20 °C. If you notice any peeling at the edges, utilize a heat gun to warm the decal and reapply pressure.
