Graphics kit for Kawasaki KFX 450

INFORMATION:

Replacing a logo, starting number, and rider name incurs no additional charge; this service is included in the price of each graphic kit. We dispatch orders within 24 hours following payment approval or design confirmation. The custom design will be tailored according to the customer’s specifications and emailed for approval prior to printing.

ORDER PROCESS:

Upon receiving the order and confirming the design, the graphics will be produced and shipped with the utmost priority. Typically, shipments are dispatched within 24 hours after payment confirmation and are delivered by courier the next business day.

QUALITY:

We utilize only the highest quality materials available, employing FLO technology for a bubble-free application of decals. All graphic designs are printed using high-definition DPI and laminated with the most durable materials in the market. Customers can choose from classic or full chrome materials, with surface finishes available in glossy, matte, frosted, or glitter (gold/silver).

This product is not an official offering from the motorcycle brand (manufactured by Motard Design). The final design colors may differ slightly from those depicted in the product images.

INSTALLATION:

Before you begin, ensure the graphics are compatible with your motorcycle model. Should you encounter any issues, please reach out via email before application. Send detailed information to info@motard-design.com regarding your order.

1. Use technical gasoline to remove old graphics or stickers. This effectively breaks down the adhesive chemicals and evaporates shortly after application (ensuring all remnants of old adhesive are removed). Finally, clean all greasy surfaces thoroughly. DO NOT USE WATER on the adhesive side of the decals; they should be applied dry. I recommend practicing the installation on a smaller section of the motorcycle, such as the swingarm or fenders, to refine your technique.

2. Begin by peeling back approximately 10 cm of the backing paper, folding it back, and trimming the paper. Next, position the sticker on the chosen area of the motorcycle and gently press it into place. Verify the alignment to ensure it fits well on all sides, including check points around screw and ventilation holes. The decals are somewhat pliable; slight bending can allow for easy adjustment, and using heat from a heat gun can soften the sticker, making it moldable.

3. Pay particular attention to the edges, as these require heating just before application; otherwise, the decal may remain stiff and will not contour around edges effectively. Minimize contact with the adhesive side during this process. Once the graphic is fully applied, press down firmly across the surface.

4. After completing the installation, allow the motorcycle to sit for a minimum of 48 hours for the adhesive to cure. Aim to keep the motorcycle within a stable temperature range—ideally at +20 °C. If any edges peel up, use a heat gun to warm the decal and reapply pressure as needed.
